They’re slaying them
CAMERAS are rolling on the second season of Channel 7’s City Homicide. There’s no official word on when it will return to our screens, but star Shane Bourne (right) promises the top-rating drama will maintain the high standard it set in 2007. “It was a touch of joy to see the audience embrace the first series in such a dedicated way,” Bourne, who plays cop Stanley Wolfe, says. “I think the episodes we are working on now will resonate with viewers even more.” All regular cast are back for the 22-episode second season, plus a string of guest stars including Russell Gilbert, Noni Hazlehurst’s son William Jarratt and Elspeth Ballantyne. Bourne, meanwhile, is waiting to hear if he will also return this year with Channel 10’s Thank God You’re Here.
